1. William "Groundskeeper Willie" Mac Dougal (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) from the TV show "The Simpsons". Willie was much more than a groundskeeper he was a custodian as well.
2. "Carl" the janitor (played by John Kapelos) from the movie "The Breakfast Club." Most famous quote, "I am the eyes and ears of this institution my friend."
3. Dr. Richard Kimble (played by Harrison Ford) poses as a janitor at Cook County Hospital in order to infiltrate the prosthetics department and find the identity of the one-armed man that murdered his wife in the movie "The Fugitive".
4. Elaine Benes (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) uses a janitorial closet across the street from where she actually lives as her "apartment" in order to have Chinese food delivered by Hop Sings. She is then caught in the closet by the building manager and put to work as the janitor removing trash from the basement!
5. "Janitor" (played by Neil Flynn) in the TV show "Scrubs".
6. "Clem" (played by Christopher Walken) is a former mafia member in the witness protection program assuming a new identity as the custodian at a high school. He saves some students overcome from a chemical reaction in Chemistry class only to pass along the glory to his assistant Joe Dirt (played by David Spade) in order to avoid being discovered by the mob in the movie "The Adventures of Joe Dirt". Needless to say Joe accidently "outs" Clem.
7. "Custodian" (played by Loren Nelson) discovers the two discarded ballots in a trash can that would have elected Tracy Flick class president over Paul Metzler (played by Chris Klein) in the movie "Election". This cements the downfall of U.S. Government teacher Jim Mc Allister (played by Matthew Broderick.)
8. Jack Teller (played by Edward Norton) poses as a mentally and physically challenged janitor at the Montreal Customs House in order to help (or doublecross) Nick Wells (played by Robert Di Nero) by stealing a recently discovered bejeweled French sceptor in the movie "The Score".
9. "Janitor" (played by Richard Blake) is almost driven to tears when everyone in the cafeteria decides to give the class bully Greg Tolan (played by William Zabka) a taste of his own medicine by picking up one end of their lunch tables and "lifting" them muscle man style, causing the food to slide onto the floor and on Greg, making a huge mess in the movie "Just One of The Guys".
10. Joe Dirt (played by David Spade) is a janitor two times, at a high school with "Clem" (see #6) and at the radio station that interviews him in the movie "The Adventures of Joe Dirt".
